Completing your account setup (first sign-in)

The profile, password, and 2FA steps a new user goes through the first time they sign in.

What this does

Explains the short guided setup a newly invited person completes the first time they sign in — separate from the workspace-wide rollout an owner does (see "Completing your first setup").

Who can do this

Every new user, for their own account, the first time they sign in after accepting an invitation.

Steps

1. Confirm your display name and full name.

2. Set your password (and complete two-factor setup, if your workspace requires it).

3. Confirm your department, if it wasn't already set when you were invited.

What happens next

Once you finish, you land on your normal Dashboard. If you leave partway through, Staffintra resumes you at the exact step you stopped on the next time you sign in — nothing is lost.

Important notes

• This is a one-time, per-person flow — it's unrelated to the workspace-wide "Completing your first setup" checklist an owner works through when the whole organization is being configured.
