How to configure, deactivate, or uninstall an app

Managing an app after it's already installed.

What this does

Adjusts, temporarily turns off, or fully removes an installed app.

Who can do this

Anyone with workspace-apps management permission.

Steps

1. Go to Apps and open the specific app.

2. Use its Settings tab for app-specific configuration.

3. Use Deactivate to turn it off without losing its data or configuration.

4. Use Uninstall to remove it entirely.

What happens next

Deactivating hides the app's features immediately but keeps its data so it can be reactivated later. Uninstalling is more permanent — check the app's own confirmation for exactly what happens to its data.
