How to configure, deactivate, or uninstall an app

Change an app's settings, or stop using it.

Once installed, apps can be tuned, temporarily switched off, or removed entirely.

Follow these steps:

1. Open Apps and go to the app's detail page.

2. To configure, click the app's settings and adjust its options, then save.

3. To deactivate, toggle the app off — your team loses access immediately, but the data stays.

4. To uninstall, use the remove/uninstall action and confirm.

5. Check dependencies — you can't remove an app that other installed apps require (e.g., HR underpins Payroll and Productivity).

6. After deactivation, uninstalled app data is typically retained for 30 days before cleanup.
