How geofencing and remote attendance work

Restrict or allow clock-in by location, and handle remote work.
Geofencing uses GPS to check where someone is when they clock in. You can require presence in approved locations for office staff, or allow remote workers to clock in from anywhere.
Follow these steps:
Open Settings > Clock In.
Find the location or geofencing settings and add your office/approved locations with a radius.
Choose the enforcement rule — block clock-in outside locations, or allow it but flag the record.
Set up work-location schedules if different people work from different places on different days.
Save. Records outside the fence are flagged in Attendance (see How attendance status (Early / Present / Late) is determined).
As a staff member, make sure location access is on when you clock in, or your record may be flagged.
