Why the Applications count in Distribution can read 0 even when Websites has real data.
What this does
Covers the real, verified causes of this specific pattern — Applications empty while Websites has data.
Who can do this
The employee can check the device-level causes; an administrator needs to check the workspace-level ones.
What happens next
The most common real causes, in order:
Screen Recording permission isn't granted on macOS — see "macOS permissions explained."
You aren't currently, or weren't during the period you're viewing, clocked in — application tracking only runs while clocked in.
An administrator has turned off application collection specifically for your workspace in Settings > Activity & Privacy, while leaving website collection on.
The Desktop Agent itself is Offline or not installed on the device you were using.
Important notes
This is never fixed by "moving" website data into the Applications list, or the reverse — the two categories are intentionally kept separate because they come from different, real sources.
Troubleshooting
Everyone in the workspace has 0 Applications, not just you — ask an administrator to check Settings > Activity & Privacy.
You checked all 4 causes above and it's still 0 for just you — escalate to an administrator with your device name and the period you're checking.
