How-to ยท Audience: everyone

Enroll your browser so it can report which websites you visit while clocked in.

What this does

Installs the Staffintra browser extension, which reports the domain of the site you're actively viewing while clocked in โ€” a native desktop app cannot see another process's browser tab, so this is a separate install from the Desktop Agent.

Who can do this

Any employee, for their own browser.

Before you start

Productivity/activity tracking must be turned on for your workspace, and website collection specifically must be enabled (Settings > Activity & Privacy).

Steps

  1. Download and install the Staffintra browser extension for your browser.

  2. Pair it with your Desktop Agent using the pairing code shown in the extension (if the Desktop Agent is installed), or sign in directly if running the extension standalone.

  3. Confirm the extension shows as connected.

What happens next

The extension reports the domain of your active tab (not the full URL, unless your workspace has separately enabled full-URL capture) while you're clocked in, and stops when you clock out.

Important notes

  • By default only the domain is recorded (e.g. "canva.com"), not the full page URL โ€” full-URL capture is a separate, off-by-default workspace setting.

Troubleshooting

  • Websites never show up in My Productivity โ€” see "Websites not showing in My Productivity" in Troubleshooting.
